I went alone to visit Czech Republic during 3 days. I pass the first day in a nice city which called Olomouc. The 2 last days, I went to Prague. This trip was good because of the weather and the beautiful landscapes.
I paid approximately 40 euros for the transport between Nitra – Olomouc, Olomouc – Prague and the return. When I arrived in Olomouc, I thought I had made a mistake because the city was not really nice. But I thought I was in the wrong center, I had to walk around 30 min to be in the center and see good things of this city. The architecture of the city is like Vienna but more colourful for the buildings. You can see above some pictures of this city.
The 2 other days, I went to Prague, it is for me the most beautiful city that I have ever visited thanks to its big castle, but also the river which cross the city and the little mountains which are around the city center. Prague is a city where you can found many hostels where the night costs less than 10 euros. I find one where the price was 7 euros by night with the breakfast offered. Also for food it is not so expensive, you have just to careful about the change when you want Czech money, because some ATM take some charges and are not so good for you.
You can visit approximately everything in Prague in two full days in you wake up early. It is what I did and it as so intense. I walked around 20 kms by day but too see beautiful things. It is a city that you can visit also in the night because some lights allow you to see many monuments.
This trip was my first trip alone and I am not disappointed about this. I could do what I want so it was so intensive.
