How to go and accommodation :

ESN members organised this trip so we had only to pay 90€ including

– The transport from Bratislava to Krakow and return (about 7 hours of travel)

– The two nights hostel in the centre of Krakow

– The food (only the breakfast and the dinner, in a restaurant close to the hostel

– A guide for the visit of Krakow

– A visit of Auschwitz

-A visit of a salt mine in Wieliczka

The visit of the city :

We started the visit by the Royal Wawel Castle, it is a castle residency built at the behest of King Casimir III the Great, who reigned from 1333 to 1370.

We also visited the St. Floriant gate and the main market square, the biggest medieval European square.

After we visited the Adam Mickiewicz Monument and the St Adalbert’s Church and two others church that I forgot the name.

Conclusion :

We really enjoyed this trip and thank the organisators of this event, it was really nice and the weather was good. If you go to Poland, you can’t miss Krakow, and take also time for visiting Auschwitz, a really impressive place (you will have an entire article about it)
