Introduction :
We organised a Trip into Vienna with others Erasmus students from ESAIP, like a meeting points, we were around 15 people (from Ostrava, Nitra, Prague, Liberec, Budapest..). Vienna is the capital and largest city of Austria, with a population of 2 million people, Vienna is also the political centre.

How to go and accommodation :
From Nitra, we are not so far from Vienna (around 3 hours by bus) and like everytime we booked a bus with the company RioJet from Nitra to Bratislava then from Bratislava to Vienna, 10€ for go and return ticket.

We booked a room in a youth hostel named Seven Vienna from 11,20€ for a night, it was really simple hostel, just for sleep. We booked with Charly, Benoit and I a room and it was only a room with 3 beds, nothing else. If you read me and you want to go to Vienna with an hostel where you want to cook and have really clean bathrooms, I advise you to take an other hostel.
The visit of the City:
In my opinion, this city is the most beautiful city we visited during this Erasmus, even more beautiful than Krakow so if you are not far from it, you can’t miss this city, there is so many things to visit that I can’t make a list, if you go to Vienna, just go to the History Center of Vienna, walk in the street and you will see beautiful architecture and monuments.
Some example of monuments you can’t miss in Vienna :
- The Schönbrunn Palace (the castle of Empress Sisi!)
- The Schönbrunn Zoo (the world’s oldest zoo)
- The belvedere
- The Imperial Palace Hofburg
- The Art History Museum in Vienna
Some photos we made :
Conclusion :
We really enjoyed this trip, the city is beautiful. If you want to go out, it’s a bit expensive and you have to be nice dressed, be careful about it. The weather was good, I advise you to visit others capital before visit Vienna otherwise you’ll be disappointed by the others city. Don’t miss this city, I really recommend it.
